SAD WEEK

Last week was a hard one for me it started out on Tuesday when Taylan went to Pre- school early to get tested to see if she was ready to start reading and she was so she brought home three books and read them all to me I was so proud of her and it made me really start thinking about how fast she is growing up. She will be turning 5 in March and it is just amazing to me that we have had her for 5 years. She is now such a good girl and loves to learn and dance, she is an awesome big sister and loves her brother so much.
Then on Wednesday I took down Ryders crib and changing table I know he is almost three, but I said I would leave him in his crib for as long as I could so he would keep taking naps, then that came to an end So he got bunk beds and it was so sad for me to think that I no longer had a baby. The crib has been set up for 5 years straight so it was very hard for me to take them down but he keeps telling me he is a big boy even though he does not look like one I need to let him grow up. He has had such a fun time jumping off the top bunk and we have not had any injuries so far (knock on wood). I love my Ryder man he is crazy and all boy!

It really is sad that kids grow up so fast. I need to be better at enjoing every moment of our lives and not worry about the little things.

what do you mean Ryder looks so big!! maybe it is the big bed or that I haven't seen him in awhile, it is so sad they get big way to fast.

How exciting for Tay, she is big....it seems like only yesterday you were doing the dance in the back of the city hall, with your pregger belly. That was so funny! I am so glad that you were there with me.
I agree with the keeping them in the crib as long as possible. He is such a cutie. And that bruise is so bad on the post before. I am sure there are going to be more of those from the bunks.

I feel the same way about my kids growing. Don't you just wish you could go back a few years & not take the little moments for granted? I sure do. Can't believe our babies will be in Kindergarten next year. Wish they were together though. :(

Good job Tay!! That is so neat! That is so sad to see him in the bed, say it with me "Don't grow up Ryd!!" When I was looking at Him and the Cain on sunday I was thinking I remember when he was that small... time flew by!
